Episode 64: The Law of Attraction and Why Supplement Reviews Aren’t Reliable.

Welcome to the new name change! Same podcast, new look.

My wife didn't like me using the word "ain't" and I do appeal to a sophisticated audience so it was time to "freshen up" the look.




So the law of Attraction is a very powerful concept to know. I got the idea driving around and seeing how unhappy most people look driving. You can only hold 3-4 ideas in your brain (prefrontal cortex). If you fill your head with negative thoughts you will tend to attract more negativity into your life. Fact. The more you focus on positive things, the easier life will get for you. The universe even has a way of helping out by throwing ideas and people that can help into your life. Pretty cool.


I also talk about why supplement reviews can be very misleading. Yes the companies can out and out lie about their product but the user can also give you misleading info. I forgot to mention in the podcast that some companies are giving out free samples for review. Not all these people work out but they are obligated to say something anyway. So be careful about that.

Welcome to episode 63 where we will be talking about Goals. More specifically why setting goals isn't a good thing to do and why it doesn't work. You need to find the main goal you want to achieve. Do that and all these other goals will likely fall into place. I lay out a simple way for you to figure out what your goal is and what you need to do to get there. Not a lot of rah-rah stuff, just stuff you can use.

I also talk about the media and why people fixate on things they can't change. It is a big waste of time in my opinion. The best way to change the world is to change your self first.

A shout out to the great Bob Bain of the Bob Bain Farside Podcast. Very entertaining if you like paranormal stuff. He sounds like an interesting version of Dr. Phil. Here is a link,

Episode 62: Why Weight Training Won’t make you Bulky

This podcast summarizes what I really dislike about the fitness industry. In the last episode I was telling you of a couple that decided to join one of these pseudo boxing gyms only to get hurt because they weren't ready for it. Now they don't want to go back yet they have paid for a half a year. That stinks!


Worse than that, they don't want to work out with weights because they are afraid of "bulking up". Another dumb myth the media perpetuates. In this episode I try to explain why this is physiologically impossible (without the use of certain unnamed substances) and why you should never worry about this. 


If you ever end up getting bulky, don't blame the weights, blame your diet!
