This podcast summarizes what I really dislike about the fitness industry. In the last episode I was telling you of a couple that decided to join one of these pseudo boxing gyms only to get hurt because they weren't ready for it. Now they don't want to go back yet they have paid for a half a year. That stinks!
Worse than that, they don't want to work out with weights because they are afraid of "bulking up". Another dumb myth the media perpetuates. In this episode I try to explain why this is physiologically impossible (without the use of certain unnamed substances) and why you should never worry about this.
If you ever end up getting bulky, don't blame the weights, blame your diet!
