Episode 38: Judas Priest and Anabolic Kit Kat Bars

November 25, 2014

In this weeks episode of amateur fitness podcasting I try to struggle through the effects of recovering from the Judas Priest concert the night before. I am not as young as I used to be and I thought that a quick run and slamming an energy drink could revive me enough to make a fairly competent podcast. You be the judge.

The highlights here are as follows because I will show you how to negotiate with your spouse to attend concerts you want to go to such as Judas Priest. You will learn that Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are the two premier metal bands in the world and their cd's should be in your collection if you have an inclination towards that genre.

On the fitness side of things Nestles is trying to find the chemical that makes exercise effective and incorporate it in their food. The link is here, http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-11-18/exercise-in-a-bottle-is-next-food-frontier-for-nestle.html.

The push for food companies to try and engineer their food towards having pharmaceutical like benefits is an interesting concept. While the general public is clamoring for more "natural" foods, there is a huge opportunity for food companies, like Nestle, to create "SuperFoods".

What I try and do is take a semi-sophisticated look at both sides of the issue to see what the implications are.
