I begin this episode with a great quote from Mark Rippetoe and his book "Strong Enough?" that basically defines what functional training is and is not. That is the high point of the podcast and fortunately it occurs early.
The middle part of the show revisits the idea that you don't have to let body parts rest between workouts. Just a little clarification was needed from last week's podcast.
Next we move to the comedy section of the show where the Huffington Post publishes an article rebuking the Paleo diet. As usual, the writer has the facts wrong which doesn't make that big a difference since she doesn't get the concept either.
